At just three months, you might be starting to see a little personality shine through from your little one. As you head into the 3rd month, this is typically a time you can start to seed a routine, and focus on sleep training!

Average Height & Weight:
- Avg girl: 12.9 lbs, 23.5 inches
- Avg boy: 14.1 lbs, 24.2 inches
Development/Milestones:
- Follows objects with eyes
- Smiles when she sees your face or hears your voices
- Raises head and chest, or holds upper body with arms, during tummy time
- Grasps and shakes toys
- Opens and closes hands, brings hand to mouth
Feeding:
- Nurse/bottle 4-6x a day (16-32 ounces a day)
Sleep:
- 15 hours a day
- 3 naps, totaling 5 hours
- Sleep 10 hours overnight (may wake 1-2x)
Activity Ideas:
- Rock and sing lullabies to help baby learn and listen
- Play toys on baby play mat, alternate toy placement so baby’s head is in different positions
